PL 2703/2022 is approved in the Chamber of Deputies

With 260 votes in favor and 83 against, O PL 2703/2022 he was approved this Tuesday (6) by Chamber of Deputies, extending the period to 18 months for the entry of the new energy compensation rules defined in Law 14,300, and in the case of minigeneration from PCHs of up to 30 MW, the deadline should be up to 30 months.

As a result, the proposal approved by deputies extends until July 2023 the deadline for micro and mini electricity generators to request access to the distribution network without losing current benefits. And for the PCHs, the deadline extends until July 2024.

Next steps

PL 2703 will now go to the Senate, which will also discuss the topic and discuss the text in Plenary. Having also been approved by the Senate, the proposal goes to presidential sanction and amends Law 14,300/2022.
