It was approved in the plenary session of the Legislative Assembly of Rio Grande do Norte, this Wednesday (26), the bill which provides for the installation of photovoltaic solar panels in hospitals, schools and public offices in the state.

The initiative of the deputy Ubaldo Fernandes (PSDB), aims reduce costs in public administration. According to him, the project is extremely important, even more so considering that RN is among the three states with the highest level of solar radiation in the country.

“The potential of 780 to 800 W per square meter is five times greater than that of Germany, one of the countries that produces the most solar energy in the world”, he highlighted.

TJMS targets savings of R$ 4.8 million with solar

O TJMS (Court of Justice of Mato Grosso do Sul) will have a annual savings estimated at over R$ 4.8 million with the installation of a photovoltaic system, scheduled to come into operation next year.

“Although energy efficiency measures, such as the use of LED lamps, are a reality in these buildings, the cost of electricity in the annual budget is very representative”, stated the TJMS.

The proposal is aligned with environmental issues, in which the use of alternative renewable energy sources appears as a protagonist on the global scenario, where there is a scarcity of resources.

Therefore, in 2021, TJMS began technical-economic feasibility studies regarding the implementation of photovoltaic energy systems to serve Judiciary buildings in MS.
