Man suspected of involvement in theft and receipt of solar energy panels and inverters was arrested in the act, on July 20th, in an operation carried out by the Civil Police of Minas Gerais (PCMG).
The operation called Trattore, consisted of combating theft and theft of agricultural equipment. The arrest of the 32-year-old suspect took place in Passos (MG).
According to the Civil police, the suspect was released after paying bail. With him, a photovoltaic inverter stolen in April, valued at R$ 28.5 thousand. Also found with the suspect tools which are used to dismantle solar energy systems.
“PCMG believes that with today's action, other equipment stolen in the region (inverters and photovoltaic panels) can be recovered, since the individual arrested today is one of the main people being investigated when investigating crimes with such characteristics. The investigations will continue”, said the Civil Police in a statement issued.
According to the Civil Police, the individual has criminal record for crimes against property.
