Municipal portal in SC receives installation of solar panels

City of Rodeio aims to install photovoltaic systems in all public buildings

O municipality of Rodeio, located in the state of Santa Catarina, continues to allocate public resources to energy efficiency projects.

After obtaining a reduction of 70% of the public lighting energy bill with the installation of LED technology in 100% of the city, now the Portal of the region has received a solar plant.

According to Pasta, the system has 4 kWp and has a 3 kW inverter. The remaining energy will be used for the Rodeio city hall building.

The goal is to make all public buildings sustainable and more energy efficient. Mayor Valcir Ferrari spoke of the importance of these investments.

“Photovoltaic energy generation has stood out as a promising technology, as the benefits come from low environmental impact, reduced load on electrical networks, reduced losses and optimized costs”, he concluded.
