NeoCharge has developed a portal free service that compiles data from Denatran (National Traffic Department) and reveals the volume of the electric fleet in Brazil.

“As one of the main actors in the development of electric mobility, we believe that access to information is important for us to be able to promote knowledge and expand the topic of mobility”, highlighted Raphael Pintão, managing partner of the company.

According to NeoCharge, in order to facilitate navigation for the user, the survey is distributed in three forms of visualization:

  • Overview of the fleet of EVs (electric vehicles) in Brazil from 2015 to the present day, whether electric, hybrid or plug-in hybrids, in which it is possible to find both information on the car fleet and market share by type;
  • Distribution of EVs by states and cities in the country;
  • Ranking of electric car manufacturers and the models that are currently running on the streets of Brazil.

According to NeoCharge, having data available to the population is important, as it shows that the technology is being widely adopted and the market is growing, bringing more opportunities for new businesses.

“This new portal will help people interested in the world of electric cars to have more information about the market and, therefore, facilitate their decision-making process to purchase the model most suitable for their needs”, concluded Pintão.
