Porto Seguro presents a fleet of electric vehicles

Porto Seguro announced that it is participating in the 16th edition of Veículo Elétrico Latino-Americano, the electric mobility exhibition, which takes place in São Paulo, until September 25th. 

At the event, which began this Thursday (23), the public will be able to see up close the company's electrified vehicles, such as tow trucks, cars and bikes - used to assist in the more than 4 million annual services for cars and homes registered by Porto .

“The best way to fulfill this mission is to create efficient, sustainable and technological solutions, bringing constant innovations to the market”, highlighted Marcelo Sebastião, director of Porto Socorro.

The company's electric winch, for example, is one of the alternatives to reduce environmental impact. It has a range of 240 km, a battery capacity of 97 kWh and recharge in up to 6 hours. In operation in São Paulo and Curitiba (PR), these are the first electric vehicles used for this activity in the country, stated the insurance company. 

In total, Porto Socorro currently has 50 electric bicycles, one electric motorcycle, five electric trucks and 16 electrified cars.

About the event

The Latin American Electric Vehicle, which coincides with Electric Mobility Day, celebrated this Saturday (25), shows the main innovations in the segment and brings successful experiences with this technology that comes gaining more and more space in Brazil and around the world
