This Thursday (25), the InfoLink Consulting released another weekly newsletter about the behavior of prices of equipment and inputs in the photovoltaic market.

Us last seven days, what was observed was a stability throughout the production chain little time left until Chinese New Year arrives, on February 10th.

Historically, during the holiday, there is an increasing trend price due to the interruption of activities in crucial sectors, such as in the manufacture of inputs, production of equipment and logistics services for maritime transport.

Because of the festivities, some manufacturers even increase production cuts, while producers accept fewer orders, focusing on production projects. utility scale.

At last week, the big new was the price reduction of HJT modules (heterojunction), which had fallen by around 3.1% in the international market.

This time, the price of this and other modules remained unchanged, which also includes panels with PERC technology; TOPCon and N-Type.

Polysilicon

The new bulletin attests that, since last week, the sector has been trying to increase input prices on the market, with large companies negotiating raw materials with ingot manufacturers. However, it is still uncertain whether this price growth will actually materialize. Until then, the input continues to be sold at US$ 21/kg.

Cells

The supply of high-efficiency cells has been tight, with the number of manufacturers falling. As a result, the main producers also tried to raise prices, but without immediate success.

Chinese Currency

Despite the stability in the international market, prices on the Chinese domestic market have undergone changes, although they are few. The price of HJT modules saw its value in Yuan (RMB) drop by 1.6%. Additionally, the 182mm and 210mm N-Type wafers dropped 1.6% and 2.4% respectively. These changes, however, did not cause significant impacts.
