The demand for solar energy in Brazil, whether by residential or commercial consumers, has boosted the revenue of several Brazilian companies operating in the photovoltaic market. Among them is the distributor of photovoltaic equipment Proauto Solar.

According to Renan Garcia, Commercial Coordinator at Proauto Solar, the company's goal for this year is aggressive. “For the year 2021 we have a bold projection of growing 36% in the year in its solar division. At the end of the first half of 2021, we are exactly at the center of this goal and with historic records achieved for both the GD market”, he stated.

“In the GC (Centralized Generation) market we already have more than 1GW installed in protection, with an increase in the number of photovoltaic plants in operation in Brazil and expanding our presence with our activities in connectivity. In addition to our portfolio for the protection of photovoltaic systems, we also aim to be a complete provider of connectivity solutions, and this is one of the factors that has positively impacted Proauto's sales”, added Garcia.

And to maintain this growth, Garcia said the company has partnered with TE Connectivity to provide connectivity and protection equipment for plants above 30 MW.

“The Trunk Buss solution, manufactured by TE Connectivity, helps to drastically reduce the number of cables, which simplifies installation and eliminates points of failure”, highlighted Garcia.
