A Bradesco Seguros registered a 173% increase at the insurance billing for system equipment solar energy in Brazil in 2022.

According to the company, only between the months of January and September this year were R$ 4.1 million accumulated. In 2021, the balance was R$ 1.5 million throughout the twelve months of the year.

The growth of this type of insurance has direct relationship with the expansion of the photovoltaic sector in the country, especially in the distributed micro and mini generation segment.

According to official data from ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), the own solar energy generation sum this year more than 6.25 GW of installed power, one growth of 36.2% compared to the full year 2021, with 4.58 GW.
