The Huawei Solar Road Show project, which has been circulating in 15 Brazilian states since last year, offering free training in installing solar energy systems to the population, was one of the highlights of the Future Fund report – an international fund that aims to help minimize the impacts of climate change in the world.
The initiative, whose main sponsor is Huawei, has the support of the Secretariat of Infrastructure and Environment of the State of São Paulo (SIMA), ABGD (Brazilian Association of Distributed Generation) and other companies in the solar energy market.
In it, a mobile unit fully adapted for qualification courses, with a classroom, space for workshops and a house with kitchen and laundry, supplied by a real on-grid and off-grid distributed microgeneration system, has been taking basic installation courses of photovoltaic systems for municipalities.
The course began in May last year, with 8-hour courses on the basics of regulating distributed generation of electrical energy, preliminary sizing of photovoltaic solar projects, safety and quality of installations and sales. The expectation is to train more than 2 thousand people along the route, which involves a 12-month circuit on the road.
In total, the project has three objectives: raising awareness among the population about the importance of using renewable sources to generate energy; Qualify, with an itinerant classroom, professionals interested in installing photovoltaic systems and bring knowledge to regions that are difficult to access.

The international fund highlighted in its report that the project not only contributes to economic recovery plans during the pandemic and the generation of green jobs, but also aligned with the goals established in the State's Climate Change Policy (PEMC) aiming to fulfill the Paris Agreement and the Race to Zero and Race to Resilience campaigns, both from the United Nations (UN) and to which some Brazilian states have already joined, such as São Paulo.
“The Government of the State of São Paulo recognizes and thanks the governments financing the Future Fund for believing in this important project, which provided knowledge and training to the population of one of the most vulnerable regions of the State of São Paulo and contributed to increasing employment opportunities and income generation in the renewable energy sector”, said governor João Doria.
“We seek not only to renew the energy matrix, which is already 62% renewable, but to encourage the population of São Paulo regarding the importance of adopting more environmentally responsible actions that can also reflect positively on the economy itself”, highlighted the state secretary of Infrastructure and Environment , Marcos Penido.

Good morning, I would like to know where I can find equipment that I can resell in my city and where I can find online courses
Hello, John, how are you? Visit our courses page and check out: https://cursos.canalsolar.com.br/
There could be a discount for those who choose solar energy, as it is already a high investment and they still have to pay the more expensive tariff.
Good afternoon Henry.
All good ?
As always, your reports are very good. Excellent.
But I would like to know if you could do a report on the regulation of the position of entrance clocks in houses.
At least here in São Paulo.
ANEEL is very much rejecting this issue.
And most homes don't have space to place the clock facing outwards.
Would you be able to obtain this information in your report?
thanks
