Renovigi launches its own line of photovoltaic modules

Company aims for new opportunities in the growing solar energy market

A Renovigi Solar Energy launched, this February, the Reno H-550, part of a new line of photovoltaic modules that the company will make available throughout the year.

Furthermore, he announced that, from now on, strategically, will prioritize its own brand solar panels in the generation kits it offers to the market.

According to Guilherme Costa, executive manager at Renovigi, the launch of the Reno H-550 will contribute to the strengthening the national market of photovoltaic equipment, in addition to providing a longer lasting warranty to the end consumer.

“Even though they are manufactured in Asia, the new plates bear the Renovigi brand, with an Inmetro inspection seal and national guarantee. We are talking about equipment that has a useful life of around 25 years, which is why it is important for the end consumer to have access to the manufacturer in Brazil”, explained Guilherme.

For Costa, solar energy will continue to grow rapidly in Brazil, despite the entry into force of the Law 14,300 at the beginning of this year, which started charging a fee for the use of distribution networks.

“In addition to providing legal security, the law establishes a gradual reduction in the subsidy, which, until then, was 100%. In practice, the fee will result in a small increase in payback. In a project, for example, where the return would be 4 years, it will change to approximately 4 and a half years”, he said.

In other words, economically it will continue to be a very advantageous business for the consumer, who becomes an energy producer in the distributed generation model. There are still some cases, for consumers with lower consumption, where the payback may even decrease, thus expanding the potential of customers in the market”, he assessed.

Renovigi stated that it has its engineering in Brazil and a team of more than 50 professionals working in the group's office in Asia, responsible for auditing partner factories and inspecting produced batches. The aim is to analyze the quality of the raw material and flash reports (module power) throughout its manufacturing.

According to the executive, the launch of modules with the Renovigi brand is in line with the company's consolidation and also aiming for new market opportunities, such as positioning itself close to the government's plans to expand the use of solar energy in the Brazilian electricity matrix, with financing lines for the vulnerable population.

“The trend is for the photovoltaic market in Brazil to mature, which should see the solution become popular in the sector, making solar increasingly common and easily accessible for all Brazilians”, he concluded.
