Rota Solar GE offers more than 2,700 qualification opportunities

The mobile unit will pass through the Center-West, Southeast and South of the country between the months of June and August

With the aim of promoting and disseminating photovoltaic solar energy in Brazil, the manufacturer GE Solar will promote, from June 12th to August 1st this year, the GE Solar Route 2023.

According to the company, it is a customized truck that will serve as a mobile unit for tour 15 cities in the Central-West, Southeast and South regions of the country.

During this period, knowledge, technologies and experiences on the solar energy market, in order to encourage the learning and qualification of new installers. The project also intends to expand the brand in residential and C&I (Commercial and Industrial) markets.

“The boost of the Brazilian economy in the solar sector over the last few years, hand in hand with government and private sector initiatives, motivated us to launch this beautiful project. We will share with professionals in each city, at each of our stops, topics of great relevance”, he explains. Fábio Mendes, vice president of GE in South America.

According to the manufacturer, in most cities the Rota GE 2023 mobile unit will be parked in Senai units, as the institution has technological cooperation and a close relationship with the company.

  • 12 and 13/06: São José dos Campos (SP);
  • 15 and 16/06: Sorocaba (SP);
  • 19 and 20/06: Assis (SP);
  • 22 and 23/06: Maringá (PR);
  • 26 and 27/06: Araraquara (SP);
  • 29 and 30/06: São José do Rio Preto (SP);
  • 03 and 04/07: Três Lagoas (MS);
  • 06 and 07/07: Campo Grande (MS);
  • 10 and 11/07: Rio Verde (GO);
  • 13 and 14/07: Goiânia (GO);
  • 17 and 18/07: Patos de Minas (MG);
  • 20 and 21/07: Belo Horizonte (MG);
  • 24 and 25/07: Juiz de Fora (MG);
  • 27 and 28/07: Duque de Caxias (RJ);
  • 07/31 and 08/01: Volta Redonda (RJ).

According to GE, the truck will arrive in the cities on Sundays and Wednesdays, where they will remain for two days, to carry out training and exhibitions on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

In total, there will be 30 workshops (basic knowledge) and 60 qualification training courses (theory and practice) for installers, totaling more than 2,800 opportunities. The trailer will also have an interactive showroom.

All systems presented will be connected to an on-grid and functional hybrid generation and storage system, providing participants with a complete and realistic experience. During the workshops, the public will also have contact with GE products.

“Rota Solar GE 2023 is an important initiative for the dissemination of photovoltaic solar energy in Brazil, it is an opportunity to publicize this source with so much potential for the population. Therefore, we will have on display a combined and operational portfolio with single-phase and energy storage solutions”, explains Fabio Mendes, vice-president of GE in South America.
