A truck loaded with solar panels was stolen on July 9th in the district of Sede Alvorada, located in the city of Cascavel (PR).

According to the website Marshal News, the driver was carrying photovoltaic modules in the city of Marechal Cândido Rondon and spent the night at the station in the district mentioned above.

After resuming his journey at around 5am, he heard noises coming from the suspension and, after stopping the vehicle, he was taken over by an armed man.

The robber made the victim drive the car towards Cascavel. Leaving the highway, they accessed a dirt road, where they placed him in another car, driven by a second individual, and stole the truck.

According to the portal, at around 3 pm, they left the driver in the city of Nova Aurora, where he got help and registered the police report (Occurrence Report) with the Military Police, who are investigating the case.

Sources heard by Solar Channel informed that the distributor responsible for the panels has already placed a new purchase order for the integrating company, which received the products this Wednesday (20).
