The company Solar Group, specialized in fixing structures for the photovoltaic market, will establish a second manufacturing unit in the country. With 10 thousand m² of built area, the factory will be delivered in August this year. It will be located in the city of Santana do Parnaíba, in Greater São Paulo, and will have a production capacity four times greater than the factory located in Itapevi.
According to the company, the investment will be R$ 19 million and the new unit will serve the domestic and Latin American photovoltaic solar energy markets in distributed generation, which includes systems installed in homes, businesses, industries, rural properties and public buildings.
“The new plant is part of the strategic plan to expand operations and guarantee excellence in fast service to market players”, explains Ronaldo Koloszuk, commercial director at Solar Group.
According to the company, the new factory will support a series of new product and technology launches that the company will launch in the second half of this year. “Even with the crisis in the Brazilian economy due to social isolation in the fight against the new coronavirus, we are betting on growth in the solar market this year”, says Koloszuk.
Currently, Solar Group has 210 employees and has already sold more than 940 MWp in structures for distributed generation on roofs and slabs throughout Brazil.
