All series of Hanersun Hitouch 6/5N/5/4 photovoltaic modules have been listed in the latest list of DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) standard compliant products.

For Hanersun, this inclusion is a milestone in the company's globalization. Products listed include the ultra-high power Hitouch 6 bifacial series, ideal for desert ground plants, and the module TOPCon high efficiency Hitouch 5N, ideal for Shams Dubai program.

“With the support of technologies such as MBB+, high-density encapsulation and non-destructive cutting, Hanersun strives to provide more reliable and efficient photovoltaic products to Dubai and other regions in the Middle East,” the manufacturer highlighted in a statement.

"A DEWA listing This time is not only a high recognition of Hanersun's products, manufacturing and technology by local authorities, but also a good foundation for further expansion of Hanersun's influence in the Middle East,” the note added.

“Hanersun always focuses on the interests of customers, hopes to create greater value for the industry and customers, while enhancing win-win cooperation in the global market,” the company concluded.

Photovoltaic market in the United Arab Emirates

Together with the city of Abu Dhabi, the municipality of Dubai is highlighted in the solar energy sector in United Arab Emirates. Since 2015, the city has created the Shams Dubai plan, which aims to encourage the development of the residential and commercial photovoltaic market.

In addition to launching the program, Dubai also opened several tenders for photovoltaic projects with the aim of increase UAE photovoltaic installation expectation in 2022 to 1 GW.

Earlier this year, authorities announced the target of reducing carbon emissions by 30% by 2030, further contributing to the carbon neutral goal. At the same time, the UAE has also committed to achieving 50% share of renewable energy in its energy mix by 2050.

In Hanersun's assessment, the country's focus on global energy transition and environmental awareness will make the Dubai solar energy demand expands and market prospects become even broader.
