Last Thursday (11), the photovoltaic inverter manufacturer SMA Brazil, a subsidiary of the German SMA Solar Energy AG, reinforced its commitment to Brazilian photovoltaic energy DG (distributed generation) market, upon opening its new office in the capital of São Paulo.

SMA's new commercial unit is located in the Vila Mariana neighborhood in São Paulo (SP). According to the company, the location was chosen to bring the company's employees even closer to customers and partners in the Brazilian photovoltaic market.

The inauguration event was attended by the company's international executives, Boris Wolff, Executive Vice President of Global Sales and Services, and Daniel Rosende, general director of SMA, responsible for Latin America, who joined 20 other guests, including partners and customers.

“We are very excited about this new moment for SMA in Brazil. We began our operations in the Brazilian solar sector six years ago, when the market was still at an early stage and today we seek to reinforce our local operations, even closer to our partners and customers. Furthermore, we are proud of our great performance in projects in large plants with SMA solutions”, he highlighted André Gellers, country manager at SMA Brasil.
