SMA Brasil, a subsidiary of the German giant SMA Solar Energy AG, reinforces its commitment to the Brazilian photovoltaic generation market by officially opening its headquarters in the country. The inauguration took place on 11/04/2019 during a workshop on solutions for energy storage, an event promoted in partnership with the Solar Channel.
The inauguration was attended by the company's international executives, such as Charles Ellis, Vice President Sales at Americas SMA, Romulo Bisetti, Regional O&M Business Development and Sales Manager at SMA South America, Daniel Rosende, Managing Director of SMA South America, and Jorge García Huidobro, Sales Manager at SMA South America, who joined the more than 100 guests present.
SMA's new commercial office is located in Campinas, in the Helbor Offices building, on Avenida José de Souza Campos (known as Avenida Norte-Sul), number 1073. The Avenida Norte-Sul region is easily accessible and offers the best infrastructure commercial city.
The company also expanded its workforce in the country. In addition to Pedro Paulo Alves, Branch Manager at SMA Brasil, who started operations at the company locally in 2016, the team also includes Mayara Barreto, Marketing Coordinator at SMA Brasil and Cesar Kobayashi, Regional Sales Manager.

We started our operations three years ago, when the market was still in an intermediate stage, and today we realize our dream of strengthening local operations with our first headquarters. We have ambitious goals for the future of our operation. The idea is to invest even more in the country with laboratories and accelerate the distribution of our solutions through our distributors”, explains Pedro.
