The distributor Ten Brazil and the manufacturer of photovoltaic inverters Sofar Solar signed a partnership to 100 MW distribution in brand solutions for the national market.

Currently, the manufacturer Sofar Solar, based in Shenzhen, China, has more than 1,200 employees, operating in 20 countries and was recently ranked as the Top 5 brand of hybrid inverters in Europe, according to Wood Magazine.

In the Brazilian market, the brand has been present since 2017, with more than 200 thousand inverters sold and appearing as the Top 3 inverter brand in the residential market, according to the Greener ranking.

“The partnership with Ten Brasil is a source of great pride for Sofar Solar and is part of the Manufacturer's new commercial strategy in Brazil, which prioritizes working with distributors with a significant presence in their operating regions and with a focus on the customer, delivering products quality and excellent services”, highlighted Eduardo Froes, Sales Director for DG (distributed generation) at Sofar Solar.

The announcement of the commercial agreement was made this Tuesday (7), during the first day of a series of workshops promoted by the distributor Ten Brasil, in partnership with Spec Energy, for its partner integrators.

In addition to announcing the commercial agreement, the two companies announced the pre-sale of Sofar inverters on the Ten Brasil sales platform. According to Sofar's DG Sales Director, Ten Brasil will make Sofar's entire G3 line portfolio available to its customers, offering solutions for residential, commercial and industrial customers.

“Sofar’s current line of inverters has as its main technological difference its operating current, which is 100%, suitable for working with panels up to 700 W of power. In practice, this embedded technology optimizes the payback time through the greater generation delivered by the photovoltaic kit and lower investment (CAPEX) in the photovoltaic solution”, added Froes.

Networking and business

The workshop addressed solutions for large plants, the Free Energy Market, trends in the solar sector, processes, opportunities in the photovoltaic segment and other related topics. The director of Ten Brasil, Luiz Scagnolato, highlighted that the main objective of the event was “to bring new technologies and quality products, always thinking about what our integrator needs”.
