SolarEdge presented a first in the sector. The inverter manufacturer launched a blog with reports on the technologies the company develops and information about the photovoltaic market in general.

The entire SolarEdge team in Brazil will be responsible for writing technical articles, which will be updated monthly. According to the company, the idea is to have another source of news about solar energy to help installers deepen their knowledge.

Among the reports that have already been published, there are, for example, one about the importance of the insulation test in an SFCR (Photovoltaic System Connected to the Grid) and another about how to calculate OPEX (Operational Expenditure, or Operational Expenses) – which are the costs after installation and commissioning of the system, commonly linked to after-sales services.

Furthermore, an article has already been published showing the difference between the SolarEdge solution and other solar inverter topologies, as well as an interview with Tomer Koren, SolarEdge's regional manager in Latin America, addressing the prospects for the Brazilian photovoltaic energy market and how the company hopes to contribute to the development of this sector.

The manufacturer has provided a form for anyone interested in making suggestions for texts to be posted on the blog. Click here to access it.
