"A factory is currently in its first operational stage and the second is already in expansion process. In this second stage, we will practically double the size of the factory and all production lines will be within this new unit.”

That's what he said Gilberto Camargos, executive director of SolaX Power in Brazil. In an interview with Solar Channel, he spoke about the differences of the company's venture, located in Zheijang, in China.

Opened in 2022, the production capacity is 30 GW (8.76 million units annually) in inverter It is 7.4GW (7.3 million units annually) in batteries. In total, around US$ 200 million.

According to him, the factory occupies an area of 100 thousand m² and has 2 thousand employees, with more than 590 employees distributed across four R&D (Research and Development) centers.

With fully automated production, the unit manufactures inverters, batteries and storage system accessories, with 30 state-of-the-art production lines and 12 automatic SMT production lines.

“The main difference is that it is a completely green, digital and intelligent factory, which guarantees a perfect interconnection between equipment, personnel and technology. The entire operation is centered on orders, based on customer demand, which guarantees production efficiency and quality”, highlighted Camargos.

According to the executive, this is an adapted and personalized mode of production to reduce the product development cycle and achieve standardization.

“With fully digitalized and intelligent scheduling, it is possible to have in-depth knowledge of customer needs, with order visualization and end-to-end traceability,” he said.

Improvement of equipment

The executive director of SolaX Power also commented on the company's pioneering role in the global hybrid inverter sector, as they placed the first hybrid inverter on the Asian market in 2013.

“We focus on management and constant improvement of products. And it was with this aim that we opened this factory with fully automated and intelligent production, which contributes to the efficiency of the entire production process and superior product quality, delivering to the market the best in this segment”, he pointed out.

“And with such a differentiated factory, the company and the entire chain benefit from computerization of management, automation of logistics, mechanization of production and standardization of design”, concludes Gilberto Camargos.
