The inverter manufacturer Solis was the winner of the AREA (Asia Responsible Enterprise Awards), an award for Asian companies that value sustainability, in the category Green Leadership.
According to the company, the award is recognition of the company's long-term commitment to the environment. “Solis will continue to work with its partners in search of a net zero world”, states Lucy Lu, Global Marketing Director at Solis.
The manufacturer was responsible, for example, for creating a project that exempts more than 100 thousand tons of coal, reducing CO2 emissions by around 270 thousand tons with string inverters for the 300 MW Tidal Flats power station in Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province.
The project uses the series of three-phase string inverters Solis 215-255 kW, with an efficiency ratio of 99% CC/CA, supports compatibility with the manufacturer's bifacial modules LONGi Solar, with anti-PID function to improve system efficiency. This energy supply is equivalent to half of the municipality’s clean electricity needs.
