Screwless photovoltaic module fixing solutions

Ground plants can be quickly assembled with special clamps that fit into structures

ARaymond Energies designs and manufactures photovoltaic fixing and grounding solutions for ground, rooftop, carport and floating power plant installations.

The company's promise is to provide solutions that speed up installation, reduce maintenance and lower the total cost of the project.

One of the main attractions of ARaymond's solutions is the universal fixing clips, which adapt to any module without adjustments. The clamps do not use screws, so there is no need to check torque during installation, which also has the advantage of speeding up the installation process for large plants.

ARaymond claims that its installation method is one of the fastest in the world. A photovoltaic module can be installed in just 10 seconds, using 4 PowAR type clamps (exclusive to ARaymond) and with the help of 3 people. This is equivalent to installing 690 panels per day per person in a large plant.

The following figure illustrates the PowAR Cinch clamp for attaching modules to structures that employ vertical rails, such as those shown in the figure in sequence. The rails must have a special shape, like a hat, with tabs that allow the clamps to be fixed.

The following figures show the process of attaching PowAR clamps to frames.

The clamp is fixed with a small lateral force, without the use of screws

A version of the PowAR clamp is also available for attaching photovoltaic modules to longitudinal structures.

In this type of fixing, the modules are attached directly to the beams, without the use of vertical rails (as in the case shown previously).

Fixing structures with longitudinal beams are suitable for plants with bifacial modules, as they minimize the presence of fixing elements at the bottom.

One detail to pay attention to is that the beams must be prepared with grooves to allow the use of this type of fixing.

PowAR Slot clamps are attached to the bottom of the beam, securing the photovoltaic module frame. No need for screws
In this image we see two clamps already fixed, keeping the frames of two photovoltaic modules firmly attached to the longitudinal beam

Installations with modules in landscape (horizontal) position are also perfectly possible with ARaymond solutions, as shown in the following figure.

PowAR clamps can also be used with modules installed in landscape position
