Simplify the monitoring and maintenance process of photovoltaic installations. This is the objective of Tigo EI (energy intelligence), digital platform developed by Tigo to improve the user experience.
According to the manufacturer, this technology offers tools to reduce operation and maintenance costs and increase system performance and revenue.
EI also optimizes the commissioning process, providing greater plant visibility and information for final installers and EPCs, as well as identifying problems that increase truck-rolls – which is when there is a need to send a technician in a truck to reconfigure a item of equipment or a wire and cable system, for example.
“Fleet management technology is the next essential driver in renewable energy and the Tigo EI platform will accelerate this dominance with better data collection and analysis software,” said Archie Roboostoff, vice president of software at Tigo Energy.

Among the main features of Tigo EI are an electricity flow diagram, which presents real-time and archived generation and distribution data; performance reports designed to reduce alert fatigue for installers; and updated chart pages to include a calendar flow and revenue statistics that show the monetary equivalent of energy production.
The platform is available in web format and also as an app on the App Store and Play Store.
