TW Solar, the module manufacturing division of the Tongwei group, arrived in Brazil with ambitious expansion plans, with the Brazilian market as one of the main ones to strengthen its brand.

The company has a solid foundation as it is part of the Tongwei group, which is listed on the stock exchange and one of the 500 largest companies in the energy segment, according to Forbes Magazine.

The group has a predominant participation in the segment as it operates vertically across the entire photovoltaic chain, being a global leader in the manufacture of polysilicon and cells. Furthermore, it is one of the largest producers of wafers and one of the five largest module manufacturers in the entire global market.

“Tongwei has always been attentive to Brazil, which has unique advantages in the development of solar sources, and is committed to contributing to the evolution of this source in Brazil’s energy matrix,” stated the company.

“Tongwei is working with the aim of working together with the Brazilian market to create an even more sustainable and greener future”, added the manufacturer.

According to Tongwei, in 2023 the group expects to produce 350 thousand tons of polysilicon, 15 GW of wafers, 105 GW of photovoltaic cells and 80 GW of modules.

Today, Tongwei is also one of the largest investors in R&D (Research and Development) of technologies for manufacturing P-Type, N-Type, TOPCon and HJT photovoltaic solar cells.

TW Solar has a production line of P-Type modules, monofacial and bifacial, with 182 mm and 210 mm cells, ranging from 550 W to 580 W and from 650 W to 670 W. The company also manufactures N-Type TOPCon mono and bifacial modules with 182 mm cells, with powers ranging from 550 W to 580 W and N-Type HJT panels, monofacial and bifacial, with 210 mm cells, with powers ranging from 680W to 730W.

According to the company, when the objectives of achieving peak carbon and carbon neutrality targets become a global consensus, it is more urgent than ever to vigorously develop clean energy.

“TW Solar, part of the Tongwei Group, has been dedicated to providing high-quality and efficient energy products and solutions to customers around the world, making unremitting efforts for the global energy evolution and sustainable development of humanity,” the company highlighted. .
