A few days ago, in a conversation with a friend and respected professional, we talked about the photovoltaic market. It's difficult not to be a topic, especially given the dynamism that is reinforced every day, a characteristic that I really admire.
The Sun has been heating up sales and is not a figure of speech. There are already more than 20 thousand companies that work with solar energy. If at one time we were surprised by the number of pharmacies, today the same can be said about companies specializing in solar.
In this amount, there are brands that have been gaining ground through serious work, long-time partner distributors and newcomers, some with more experience and others who have bet on it as an inexhaustible financial source.
A Intersolar is another example. From 250 exhibitors in 2021, this edition has already exceeded 370 and the expectation is more than 30 thousand visitors in three-day event at Expo Center Norte, in São Paulo (SP). Our presence is confirmed and we are in final preparations. Particularly, of the various editions I have participated in in my professional career, this one is even more special.
I believe that due to the new positioning of the BYD Brazil Solar BU and its launch, last July, of an integrated solution that corresponds to the generation, energy storage and use at electric mobility. In the generation, our photovoltaic module factory in Campinas (SP) with large-scale production and quality certified by the research and development laboratory.
In storage, the lithium iron phosphate batteries (LIFEPO4) – reference as the safest in the world and manufacturing plant in Manaus (AM). In terms of mobility, electric vehicles have been surprising and speak for themselves, we recently took the global lead in sales, which include batteries and plug-in hybrids.
Given this solution, the inverters were still missing, a fundamental element in the search for complete solution from BYD for the solar energy market, thus becoming the only manufacturer capable of supplying all system products under a single brand.
This makes me happy and confirms the stance that I vehemently defend, delivering a complete solution and offering the client an identity and just one door to knock on, if necessary.

The program for the three days of the fair also includes a calendar of lectures with the engineering, R&D, after-sales, SGI and BYD Brazil electric vehicles.
