WDC, since January 2020, has been supplying generators throughout the national market. Its differential is humanized and personalized service, in addition to offering customization in the configuration of generators according to the client's project.

We always bring the best equipment solutions to the sector, valuing quality and guaranteeing delivery of the best efficiency in electricity generation. Our positioning is to align the best in products and service, always guaranteeing the satisfaction of our partners and simplifying the photovoltaic segment in Brazil.

How important was Intersolar South America for the company to expand its brand in the photovoltaic sector?

Intersolar South America, after 2 long years without any fair in the sector, surprised everyone who eagerly waited for the event to return and see what was new on the market. It was the first Intersolar that WDC Networks participated in and we can say that we were very pleased with the prestige of our partners and the reception we received from the public.

At the fair it was possible to see that the Brazilian solar energy market is finally maturing, where engineering companies, integrators and distributors are structuring themselves, gaining more and more know-how and positioning themselves in the sector. This is a source of great satisfaction for us to see our partners growing.

What are the main strategic partnerships signed in 2021?

In 2021 we signed major partnerships with prominent brands on the global and national scene, always valuing the quality of the equipment.

We signed a strategy with the giant Huawei in order to develop not only the photovoltaic market, but also the entire energy infrastructure (Digital Power) that covers the entire residential, industrial, transport and telecommunications market, with hybrid systems and intensive use of artificial intelligence .

Among these agreements, we initiated and consolidated a major partnership with Jinko to supply modules and Solis to supply inverters. Furthermore, we maintain major national brands in our portfolio, such as SSM metallic structures, which guarantees the best in quality and guarantee in our fastening structures.

What is your analysis of the solar sector in Brazil?

The solar energy segment is undergoing a major professionalization process. The distribution and distributed generation segment are undergoing a strong natural selection where the companies that are standing out are those that have strengthened themselves in financial and logistics management.

Next year we know that we will face a financial and exchange rate crisis, an increase in the Selic rate, in addition to being a presidential election year. Even so, the solar energy market will continue to expand and to support this growth, distributors that are more structured in their financial and logistical capacity will stand out during this period.

Could you outline some projections for the market next year? Furthermore, what new features will WDC present for 2022?

For the year 2022, WDC will invest very heavily in the DigitalPower and commercialization of hybrid solar energy systems, in partnership with Huawei. Furthermore, the launch of its own brand of photovoltaic generators is scheduled for April.

We will also give great emphasis to the offer of TaaS, an energy as a service (OPEX) modality in which the customer can rent generation equipment without the need to purchase or finance (CAPEX).
