A WEG announced that it is expanding your product portfolio for the solar energy market. Among the releases are Microinverters It is metallic structures.

“We present a new MLPE solution, the new microinverter from the SIW100G family. The product has maximum performance and generation for each module, even in situations of high temperatures, different roof orientations or even partial shading of the photovoltaic arrays”, they highlighted.

According to the company, the equipment has 1000 W output; two inputs for modules of up to 670 Wp and 20 A; IP67 degree of protection for total reliability of outdoor installation; and built-in Wi-Fi for easy device configuration and monitoring.

Metallic structures

The company also launched its metal structures with 20-year local warranty. They have the WEG Carport – developed to house up to two medium-sized vehicles – aimed at applications in supermarket parking lots, shopping malls and schools, for example.

“The single-post support makes opening doors easier. Its modular components were designed for easy and quick assembly and accommodates 15 modules with frame dimensions of 1134x2278mm and a fixed inclination of 5°”, they reported.

Another highlighted point is that this product is designed for winds of up to 50m/s and installed away from slopes. With its hot-dip galvanized finish, it is suitable for aggressive C3 classification environments.

HR and HSR profiles

Along with Carport, launched two new profiles. You HR and HSR profiles They are recommended for roofs with corrugated fiber cement tiles and/or ceramic tiles. Both are fixed to the supports on the bottom or side.

The HSR profile is recommended for installing photovoltaic modules at the ends (perimeter) of roofs and in buildings subject to severe conditions (wind above 30 m/s). Also applicable for installing photovoltaic systems on flat concrete slabs, combined with slab triangle supports.

String inverters SIW610 T075 W0

In addition to microinverters and metallic structures, the manufacturer launched a new line of Finame inverters, now available in 75 kW and soon in 16 and 32 kW. “The series allows Finame to be used with national inverters and imported modules. It also brings Silicon Carbide MOSFET technology to the market.”

“These devices follow the WEG safety and reliability standard, featuring the Fuseless topology, DPS type II in both DC and AC, earth leakage and residual current (DR) protection”, they explained.

WPV photovoltaic modules

With regard to the WEG WPV modules, the company has in its portfolio panels tested and certified according to IEC 61215, IEC 61730, IEC 62716, IEC 61701 and IEC 62804, as well as receiving the CE seal from the European community, which attests to quality, safety and reliability.

“Our monocrystalline silicon modules have a high degree of protection and reliability, as well as a 12-year manufacturing guarantee and a 25-year performance guarantee”, they emphasized.

“They also have a size of 2278x1134x30 – designed to facilitate installation, transport and mechanical robustness – and half-cell, MBB (multi-busbar) and PERC technologies, which generate an efficiency of up to 21.5%”, they stated.

WEG brand positioning

Harry Neto, head of Solar Energy at WEG, commented that these launches are very important for positioning the WEG brand as a complete solution in photovoltaic energy.

“The solar market is maturing in Brazil in terms of quality and product guarantee. Many inverters not performing what they promise and modules delivering less power, made WEG gain more space in products that deliver what they promise and with the guarantee of a Brazilian company, with 62 years in the market”, concluded the executive.
