President of Light SESA resigns from his position

Group is in judicial recovery with debts of R$11 billion

Thiago Freire Guth renounced the Light director positions, CEO of Light SESA quality board member of Light Energia. The announcement was made last Friday (16). According to the statement, Guth remains in office until June 30. The reasons were not disclosed.

A Light Group's leadership continues to be led by executive Octávio Pereira Lopes, as CEO of Light and chairman of the Boards of Directors of Light SESA and Light Energia.

A holding Light has been in judicial recovery (RJ) since May 15th with debts totaling R$11 billion. If there is any problem in the supply of electricity to the thousands of consumers in Rio de Janeiro, that is, interruption of service, the injunction that guarantees RJ may be revoked by the Court. The company has another 30 days to present the recovery plan.
