A Sunova Solar announced that his N-Type module, Called Thor, stayed in 8th place in terms of energy efficiency on the list of January's top 10 solar panels, established by Norwegian Solar Edition.

“This demonstrates Sunova’s ability to provide excellent quality products and emphasizes the strategy of providing modules to the market that combine accessibility with high efficiency,” highlighted the company.

According to Manufacturer, this approach is designed to support the global energy transition and enable all areas, from small homes to large-scale utility projects, to benefit from electricity generated by photovoltaics.

Thor modules are available in two sizes in a mono or bifacial version. The N-Type solar cells in these panels have no natural LID, thus increasing power generation by 10% to 30% compared to conventional P-type modules. Depending on size, the products consist of 108 (430 Wp module) or 144 (575 Wp module) half-cells.

According to the company, the boards are sized 1722 x 1134 x 30 mm and 2278 x 1134 x 30 mm, respectively, making them ideal for repowering existing systems. The equipment is offered with 30 years of performance and a 15-year warranty. Sunova's guarantees are backed by insurers Ariel re and Lloyd.

The Solar Edition rating is based on three factors: solar panel efficiency, energy density, and photovoltaic module power output. Check out the full ranking here: Top 10 Solar Panels – January 2023 | Solar Edition.
