A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved, this Tuesday (30), three more tariff adjustments that will impact the electricity bill of consumers served by Cocel (Companhia Campolarguense de Energia), Energisa Tocantins and Enel São Paulo.

With these new decisions, the number of tariff revisions and adjustments approved by the Agency in 2026 reaches 22, affecting more than 70 million consumer units across the country.

In all cases announced this week, the average increase for consumers exceeds the projected inflation for the year, estimated at 5,1%.

In the concession area of CocelThe average price increase of 14,58% has already taken effect. The distributor serves approximately 60,9 consumer units in the municipality of Campo Largo, Paraná.

According to ANEELThe main factors that put pressure on the utility's rates were the costs of acquiring electricity and the increase in sector charges, especially those related to the CDE Uso (Energy Development Account).

For consumers served by Energisa TocantinsThe average price adjustment will be 8,11% and will take effect from July 4th. The distributor serves approximately 707 consumer units across the state's 139 municipalities.

"Among the factors that most contributed to this tariff adjustment are the financial components, especially the Compensation Account for Variation in Values of Items in Component A (CVA), sector charges, and energy purchase costs," the statement said. ANEEL.

In the case of Enel São PauloThe average readjustment approved was 9,02%, also effective from July 4th. The concessionaire serves nearly 9 million consumer units distributed across 24 municipalities in São Paulo state.

According to the Agency, the financial components, the costs related to the transmission system, and the increase in sector charges were the main factors considered in determining the readjustment.

Electricity bills have already accumulated 22 adjustments in 2026.

With the approvals this Tuesday, the list of distributors that had their readjustments authorized by... ANEEL In 2026, this already includes increases exceeding 20%, such as those recorded by Roraima Energia (24,13%) and Copel (20,51%).

Other concessionaires also had significant increases above 10%, such as CPFL Santa Cruz (18,89%), RGE Sul (16,06%), Enel Rio (15,60%), Cocel (14,58%), Sulgipe (12,87%), CPFL Paulista (12,13%), Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul (12,10%) and Energisa Minas Rio (11,27%).

See the distributors that have already had tariff adjustments approved in 2026:

  • Roraima Energy: 24,13 %
  • Copel: 20,51 %
  • CPFL Santa Cruz: 18,89 %
  • RGE South: 16,06 %
  • Enel Rio: 15,60 %
  • Cocel: 14,58 %
  • Sulgipe: 12,87 %
  • CPFL Paulista: 12,13 %
  • Energisa Mato Grosso do Sul: 12,10 %
  • Energisa Minas Rio: 11,27 %
  • Enel São Paulo: 9,02 %
  • Light: 8,60 %
  • Energisa Tocantins: 8,11 %
  • Energisa Mato Grosso: 6,86 %
  • Energisa Sergipe: 6,86 %
  • Amazonas Energy: 6,58 %
  • Coelba: 5,80 %
  • Enel Ceará: 5,78 %
  • Neoenergia Cosern: 5,40 %
  • Cemig: 4,51 %
  • Neoenergia Pernambuco: 4,25 %
  • CEA Equatorial: 3,54 %

It is worth noting that, although Roraima Energia led the national ranking of tariff adjustments in 2026, with an initially approved increase of 24,13% in January, the effective impact on consumers should be significantly lower.

Following pressure from political leaders and local representatives, the ANEEL authorized the use of R$ 165 million from Public Asset Use (UBP) funds, originating from hydroelectric plant royalties, to mitigate the impact of the readjustment in the state.

With this exceptional measure, the expectation is that the increase actually perceived by consumers will be around 4,5% starting in the second half of the year.

Ridiculous and evasive explanations for such an absurd increase, double the inflation rate; Lula's government is ridiculous, this absurdity is entirely his and Congress's fault.
