Brasol, a company operating in the renewable energy generation and energy storage segments, released its new sustainability report, with consolidated data from 2025 on avoided emissions, investments, and expansion of its operations in the Brazilian energy sector.

According to the survey, the company's renewable energy portfolio operation has contributed to avoiding the emission of 213,3 tons of CO₂ since 2022. This result is mainly associated with the company's solar power generation assets.

Currently, the company has over 250 MWp in operational assets distributed across 21 states and the Federal District, in addition to 11 O&M (Operation and Maintenance) centers in the field.

The document also presents information on the climate risk assessment of the assets, water resource management, and measures aimed at the resilience of operations.

Another key area of focus is the expansion of the company's operations in the battery energy storage systems (BESS) market, a segment that is gaining ground in Brazil due to the growth of renewable energy sources and discussions about greater flexibility in the operation of the electrical grid.

According to the company, the year 2025 marked the transition from a policy structuring phase to a phase of implementing processes related to the ESG agenda.

Furthermore, the company received, for the second consecutive year, the Gold Seal from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program, related to its greenhouse gas emissions inventory.

For David Betancur, COO and co-founder of Brasol, the recognition is associated with the actions taken by the company in its ESG agenda. "In 2025, our focus was to transform our sustainability strategy into concrete and measurable actions," said the executive.

According to him, the company seeks to integrate these practices into its operations and investment decisions. "This performance is the result of the efficient operation of the solar portfolio, the integrated ESG management, and the work of the Brasol Ativos Integrated Operations Center," he highlighted.

In addition to emissions management, the company noted that it has made progress on other environmental fronts and strengthened its ESMS (Environmental and Social Management System), structured based on the IFC (International Finance Corporation) Performance Standards.

Investments made

In the financial field, the company reported having reached R$ 2,2 billion in investments in 2025. During this period, two investment funds were also launched: BSFA and BINV11.

The report states that this move is part of a strategy to increase participation in the acquisition and management of operating energy assets.

The document also cites the implementation of a corporate artificial intelligence program that, according to the company's own calculations, resulted in savings of over 355 operational work hours during the first year.
