Rockcore has announced the creation of a local inventory of microinverters in Brazil, with the first batch expected to arrive on March 31st. This initiative marks a strategic move by the company to expand its presence in the Brazilian market and facilitate distributors' access to the technology.
The initial inventory will consist of 2500W microinverters and will be located in Itajaí (SC), a region that offers logistical and tax benefits, such as reduced ICMS (a Brazilian sales tax). This operation will allow for direct invoicing within the country, reducing costs and lead times compared to the traditional import model.
According to the company, having domestic stock eliminates the need for distributors to purchase large volumes, making entry into the brand more accessible. "This stock is strategic because it allows distributors to avoid a large investment in imports, enabling them to invest in the brand more gradually," says Vinicius Luiz, Country Manager of Rockcore.
The strategy aims to serve both small and large players, allowing for more flexible purchases aligned with demand. According to the executive, the initiative also contributes to expanding the brand's presence in the country. "Not all companies have physical inventory in Brazil, and this facilitates access for new customers and helps develop demand in the Brazilian market," he adds.
Another key point highlighted is the strengthening of after-sales support. With products available in Brazil, the company will be able to streamline warranty and equipment replacement processes, avoiding dependence on international shipments and reducing service time.
“Having local inventory also allows us to provide faster warranty services and offer immediate support, without the customer having to depend on processes with China,” explains Daniela Figueiredo, marketing manager for Rockcore in Brazil.
Rockcore also emphasizes that the investment in local infrastructure is part of a consolidation plan in the country. "It's a significant investment, but necessary to guarantee credibility and consistent support for partners in Brazil," concludes Daniela.
The expectation is that the initiative will contribute to expanding the brand's presence in the distributed generation segment.
