To offer Safety e agility during the installation of Photovoltaic systems in elevated locations. This is the objective of the multipurpose elevator Elevate Easy, tool that was developed based on methods already used in European countries.

“To ensure perfect functioning and especially the safety of users during operation, both during design and manufacturing, we seek to respect current national regulations, especially Regulatory Standards”, said João Pedro Müller, mechanical engineer at the company.

Furthermore, Müller commented that to guarantee the quality of the product, they carried out exhaustive usage tests that were essential to approve commercialization. “The system is modular and portable, consisting of a lifting platform that moves on rails and is pulled by a set of electric motor, steel cables and pulleys.”

“It is ideal for buildings up to 15 meters in height, being easily transportable and installed. Made mainly from aluminum, to ensure lightness and durability, the elevator was specially designed to speed up installation at different levels and conditions of the building,” he highlighted.

According to the engineer, in many photovoltaic installations, especially in lower buildings, the panels are manually lifted to the roof, using ropes, ladders or adapted tools.

“This practice, in addition to being tiring, poses serious safety risks, such as the risk of falling materials or even the installer himself, due to the heavy and continuous work close to the eaves. In installations in higher locations, many choose to use mobile cranes for lifting, which can also make the process expensive”, he reported.

Thus, he highlighted that the multipurpose elevator aims to solve these and other problems related to the vertical transport of materials. “With the use of the equipment, one controller can remain on the ground, away from the operation, while another receives the load on the roof at a safe distance from the eaves, avoiding the risk of falling.”

Another point emphasized by Müller is that the solution has redundancies to guarantee the safety of operations, such as a lock on the platform that prevents it from collapsing in the event of failure, straps that prevent the material from detaching during lifting, sensors that guarantee operation in the correct course without operator intervention and emergency button for electrical failures.

“With its robustness and technology, the tool presents itself as an efficient and safe solution for installing photovoltaic plants in high places, reducing health risks and ensuring agility and practicality to the process”, he concluded.
