ABSAE (Brazilian Association of Energy Storage Solutions) will host a webinar this Wednesday (20) to present real-world cases of energy storage and discuss the role of BESS (Battery Energy Storage Systems) in the reliability and modernization of the Brazilian electrical system.
The event takes place at a time when discussions are advancing on strategic topics for the sector, such as the LRCAP (Capacity Reserve Auction in the form of Power) and the expansion of the use of storage systems.
According to the association, the goal is to clarify doubts, combat misinformation on the subject, and show, with practical operational examples, that storage is already a consolidated technology widely used in different markets around the world.
The webinar will feature executives such as:
- Roberto Valer, CTO of Huawei Digital Power;
- Alberto Bianchi, CEO of Powerhouse Energia;
- Fábio Bortoluzo, president of Atlas Renewable Energy in Brazil;
- Renato Ribeiro, Expansion and Studies Manager at ISA Energia Brasil.
During the meeting, professionals will present projects in operation in Brazil and abroad, as well as address technical concepts related to the topic, applications in the electrical system, energy reliability, and integration with renewable sources.
