A ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency) approved in this Tuesday (6), the tariff reduction of the energy distribution company EDP Espírito Santo.
With tariff reduction of 2,96% in tariffs, 1,75 million UC (consumer units) of electrical energy, in 70 municipalities of the state will be impacted. This decision was taken during the public meeting of the Agency's board of directors and will come into force from Wednesday (7).

The reduction will be divided between different classes of consumers, resulting in an average of 2,96%: residential consumers with a reduction of 1,72% and captive consumers: reduction of 1,82% for low voltage and 6,05% for high voltage.
“The average effect of high voltage refers to classes A1 (>= 230 kV), A2 (from 88 to 138 kV), A3 (69 kV) and A4 (from 2,3 to 25 kV). For low voltage, the average includes classes B1 (Residential and low-income residential subclass); B2 (Rural: subclasses, such as agriculture, rural electrification cooperative, rural industry, public rural irrigation service); B3 (Industrial, commercial, services and other activities, public authorities, public services and own consumption); and B4 (Public lighting)”, highlights the Agency.
