A Seinfra (Infrastructure Secretariat of the Ceará) authorized, this Thursday (16), the construction of a new solar power plant in the State.

With the construction, the expectation is to reduce 50% of the energy costs of the three warehouse units of Ceasa-CE (Ceará Supply Centers), located in the municipalities of Maracanaú, Tianguá and Barbalha.

The plant will be installed in the parking lot of the warehouse unit in Maracanaú, in the form of solar carports, which will cover 400 vehicle spaces, with an installed capacity of 97,50 kWp and a completion period of 8 months.

The work will be carried out with resources from FIEE (Energy Efficiency Incentive Fund), administered by Seinfra.

The service order was signed by Hélio Winston Leitão, Secretary of Infrastructure of Ceará; by Tin Gomes, president of Ceasa-CE and by Pedro Rodrigues, engineering director of Silveira Engenharia – the company responsible for executing the work.

Work on preparing the micro and mini energy generation project is also planned through Normative Resolution No. 482/2012, of ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), in addition to connection to the electrical grid and assembly and execution of all work necessary for the effective operation of the Ceasa-CE photovoltaic system.

For Leitão, “this initiative is an important project for the State, being yet another incentive for the development of a clean economy. The Government of Ceará is committed to the consumption of energy from clean sources and Seinfra, through FIEE, will continue to work to implement more projects that meet the demands of the population in a sustainable manner,” he said.
