Starting this Tuesday (14), EPE (Energy Research Company) employees will begin a new phase of mobilization, after rejecting the board's proposal.
In a meeting held last Tuesday (7), employees decided to extend the strike, with stoppages until Thursday (16). In the first two days, in-person events will be held, followed by a remote strike to discuss the ACT (Collective Labor Agreement).
This will be the second strike in October. The first took place on October 7th and 8th.
According to employees, the main demand is dissatisfaction with the company's counteroffer, which is considered insufficient to compensate for salary losses and expand benefits.
Employees are still demanding changes to the job and salary plan, the maintenance of the hybrid work regime and guarantees of job security.
Employee representatives sent a statement to EPE management, requesting an urgent meeting with the company's executive.
