GoodWe, a global supplier of photovoltaic inverters, announced last Friday (4) an initial public offering of ordinary shares (IPO) and is now officially listed as a public limited company.

Daniel Huang, CEO of GoodWe, celebrated the company's entry into the Shanghai Stock Exchange. “GoodWe has achieved consistent and sustainable growth and has proven, year after year, that its financial success is the result of a continuous approach to strategic growth and consolidation. We have been working hard for more than ten years and have reached new frontiers. The IPO marks the beginning of a new chapter”, highlighted the executive.

According to GoodWe, since 2019 the company has been achieving growth milestones. Last year's highlights included the construction of a new global headquarters in the new high-tech district in Suzhou, in addition to being classified as one of the seven best global inverter brands by Wood Mackenzie.

In 2020, in addition to listing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, the company has already won the award for “Best Photovoltaic Brand Netherlands and Australia 2020” by EuPD Research, and is also the first non-European inverter manufacturer to obtain the VDE certificate. AR-N 4110-2018, from TÜV Rheinland.

GoodWe also claims to have plans to expand its global reach with offices in key markets. To this end, the company has invested a total of 160 million yuan in a new production line at its factory in Guangde, China, which is expected to support growing international demand.

In addition, the company announced that it will invest approximately 200 million yuan in a new Smart Energy R&D building, which will fully serve the development of cutting-edge technology.

According to Rong Shen, vice president of GoodWe, the company is stable and profitable with a strong financial management strategy. “We achieved good results in a relatively short time and we are confident in the company's future growth trajectory. At GoodWe, we don’t ask ourselves what the future holds, we shape the future by implementing actions and innovations.”
