ATESS has introduced to the market its new high-performance battery control inverters – PCS1000HV, PCS1200HV and PCS1500HV – developed to meet the growing demand for scalable, efficient and sustainable energy systems.

With advanced technology and bidirectional functionalities, these inverters were designed for C&I (commercial and industrial) applications, offering support to the electrical grid and helping to reduce consumption peaks.

According to the manufacturer, one of the great advantages of the line is its scalability. The equipment can operate in parallel with up to eight units in off-grid mode, providing up to 12 MW.

“This flexibility allows integration with larger systems, enabling expansion according to the company’s energy needs, without the need for structural redesigns. Whether for backup power, peak demand reduction or energy management, these inverters offer an adaptable and highly efficient solution,” they highlighted.

High performance and maximum energy efficiency

Overall, ATESS battery control inverters achieve 98,5% maximum efficiency. In addition, their wide DC voltage operating window (up to 1500 V) allows full power operation, making them ideal for large-scale energy storage systems.

Developed to maximize energy performance, the new ATESS line also uses advanced technology and cooling systems that guarantee high performance even in adverse conditions.

“With a focus on reducing energy losses, these inverters offer substantial savings in operating costs and a lower total cost of ownership,” the company said.

Versatile ATESS applications and compatibility with different systems

According to the company, the PCS1000HV, PCS1200HV and PCS1500HV inverters can be used independently or integrated with solar charge controllers and other accessories, making them a flexible solution for a variety of applications.

“The bidirectional power conversion system enables full four-quadrant operation, accurately managing battery charging and discharging. In addition, the system features a standby start function, ensuring safe operation in emergencies,” they highlighted.

“With compatibility for high-voltage batteries, these inverters reduce the overall cost of storage systems and provide greater safety and durability, adapting to medium-sized commercial installations and large industrial complexes,” added ATESS.

Integration with renewable sources and generators

With the growing global demand for clean energy solutions, the line ATESS stands out for its compatibility with solar energy and integration with diesel generators through Virtual Synchronous Generator (VSG) technology.

This functionality enables intelligent load management, increasing system stability and efficiency. Even in regions with unstable grids, battery control inverters ensure a continuous power supply, operating without interruptions, even during power grid failures.

“When multiple units operate in parallel, the redundancy function ensures continuity of operation, and the ultra-fast on/off switch (≤10ms) ensures uninterrupted power supply during grid failures,” the company noted.

Global compliance and power grid support

The PCS1000HV, PCS1200HV and PCS1500HV inverters follow international regulatory standards, ensuring integration with electrical grids.

In addition, they feature fast active/reactive power response, support for low and high voltage transition (L/HVRT), fault transition (FRT) and power factor control, providing greater stability and reliability to the system.

ATESS's flexible cooling options for system optimization

A ATESS offers battery solutions with air cooling and liquid cooling, allowing adjustments according to the project needs:

  • For systems below 5 MWh: air cooling is a practical and efficient option;
  • For systems above 5 MWh: the user can choose air or liquid cooling, ensuring greater thermal control and performance.

“Both models feature full container integration, including inverters and accessories, providing a simplified and efficient solution for companies seeking energy security and scalability,” concluded ATESS Power.
