Abradee (Brazilian Association of Electric Energy Distributors) announced this Wednesday (20), in Brasília (DF), the winners of the Abradee 2025 Award. In its 27th edition, the award is considered one of the main references for distributors in the search for quality and innovation in the Brazilian electricity sector.
The standout performer was Neoenergia Cosern, named Best National Distributor among utilities with more than 500 customers. In the smaller category, with up to 500 customers, the title went to Sulgipe.
Neoenergia Cosern beat out competitors such as CPFL Paulista, CPFL Santa Cruz, Energisa Paraíba, Energisa Sergipe, and Neoenergia Elektro. Sulgipe, meanwhile, emerged victorious over finalists Energisa Acre, DME Distribuição, and Santa Maria.
According to Abradee, the results are determined based on satisfaction surveys of thousands of consumers across the country, combined with the analysis of technical, management, and operational efficiency indicators. Criteria such as innovation, sustainability, and quality of energy supply are also evaluated.
For association, the results reinforce the distributors' commitment to continually raising service and efficiency standards — factors that are increasingly relevant in light of the modernization of the electricity sector and the challenges of the energy transition in Brazil.
