Distributor Bluesun announced news for the solar energy market in 2021 in Brazil. In an exclusive interview with Canal Solar, Roberto Caurim, CEO of the company, stated that they are building three more CDs (distribution centers) across Brazil.
“We have three centers in the final phase of implementation. One in the Northeast – located in the city of Recife, which will be the first to go into operation, at the beginning of March – and two others: in the South and another in the Center-West”, he commented.
According to the executive, Brazil is a very large country, so there is no way to concentrate all the stock in one region. “We believe in the regionalization of photovoltaic distribution,” he added.
Currently, the manufacturer has a DC, which is located in the municipality of Limeira, interior of São Paulo. “Despite the pandemic, we practically doubled our revenue. And for this year, we intend to increasingly increase market share”, he highlighted.
In 2020, for example, the company delivered around 100 MW in photovoltaic kits. For 2021, according to Caurim, the goal is to double these numbers.
“We are one of the pioneers in the solar market. Over the years, we are growing a lot, with the support of a very good team. Bluesun's success comes from all employees. We have a different team in each area. In fact, by the middle of the year, I think we will have 200 employees”, he pointed out.

In addition to the distribution centers, CEO Roberto Caurim highlighted that there will be news regarding equipment and closed partnerships. “We cannot disclose it yet, but you can be sure that we will have a greater diversification of products, mainly inverters and solar modules”, he concluded.
