On October 20th and 21st, at CREA-SP, São Paulo, the 5th edition of Canal Conecta will bring together leading figures in the renewable energy sector in an event that combines technical training, market trends, and real business opportunities.

Organized by Canal Solar, the meeting has established itself as one of the most relevant for professionals who want to grow in the field and connect with leaders and strategic companies in the sector.

The program includes debates on key topics such as energy storage, curtailment, carbon market, financing, electric mobility, Free Market and subscription energy, with representatives from various companies and institutions, such as ANEEL (National Electric Energy Agency), WEG, Huawei, Dah Solar, Canadian Solar, Auren, Matrix, Green Yellow, Faro, Athon, Albioma, Bel Energy, Aldo, EDP and Banco BV, in addition to other large companies in the energy market.

Storage, curtailment and the future of energy in Brazil

BESS is highlighted in panels on regulation and market viability. The growing demand for grid efficiency and reliability drives solutions in this segment, seen as strategic for the energy future. Professionals and companies already operating in this niche are considered pioneers.

Another pressing issue will be curtailment: in September 2025 alone, Brazil recorded 4,8 million MWh cut from the grid, a record.

The impacts of REN 1073/2023 and uncompensated losses will be discussed by experts during the event, which will seek solutions to this sector bottleneck.

The expectation is to replicate the success of the last edition, when deals between integrators and large companies totaled over R$30 million. Financial institutions will also be present, strengthening the link between technology and economic viability.

In addition to the panels, the event will cover practical topics such as company structuring, surge protection, project financing, and plant performance.

The agenda also includes panels dedicated to the free market in low voltage, energy sustainability, electric mobility, and innovation in business models, with a special focus on startups, integrators, and investors.
