Enel contracts will be analyzed by TCM

This Wednesday (20), the TCM-SP (Court of Auditors of the Municipality of São Paulo) announced the creation of a working group to analyze contractual issues at Enel-SP. 

The objective is to account for the losses that were generated by the blackout in the city center. The group will have auditors and advisors from the offices of the External Control Secretariat to conduct the study.

MME calls for punishment

This week, two days before São Paulo City Hall informs that it will activate the ANEEL and the TCU, which also spoke out against Enel-SP was the MME (Ministry of Mines and Energy). 

The Ministry sent, on Tuesday (19), a letter to the ANEEL asking for a “quick and rigid investigation of the facts” that occurred this week, as well as “accountability and strict punishment of the concessionaire”.

According to Ministry, Enel-SP has “repeatedly” presented problems in the quality of service provision to residents of the capital of São Paulo and cities in the metropolitan region.
