In recent years, the The photovoltaic market has witnessed a significant transformation, driven by technological innovations that promise to redefine both production and energy efficiency.

The analysis is Antonio Lombardi Neto, Director of Descarbonize Solutions. The systems of solar energy with batteries – mainly lithium batteries, which have greater storage potential and efficiency – are an example.

Energy storage not only mitigates the problem of solar source intermittency, but also enables users to absorb or inject energy according to system needs, facilitating operations and reducing the cost of providing the service.

According to Neto, these innovations are not limited to the development of new equipment, but also include substantial advances in monitoring and control techniques, based on AI (artificial intelligence) and machine learning algorithms.

Among the technological solutions available on the market is Descarbonize's digital service platform, which offers an initial quote in 30 seconds for B2C customers.

“We listen to the market and understand the pain points of end customers. We are able to generate a proposal in record time via WhatsApp. The entire journey begins through our 100% digital channels. In addition, our team of experts also connects with each demand for personalized service. Through technology, we are able to gain business scale,” he said.

The company also has a digital financing platform through Sol Agora. With the aim of streamlining access to credit for photovoltaic projects, Sol Agora receives an average of R$1 billion per month in simulations, and has already financed more than R$900 million for customers throughout Brazil.

“Once again, digital experience and integrated technologies make a difference not only for those seeking financing for solar energy projects, but also for business development. We recently launched the Sol Agora APP, which will bring even more resources to our customers,” highlighted the director.

He says that when he saw a market deficiency in proactive monitoring of plants, the idea of developing a platform for this purpose came up: “It shows us in real time how much each plant is generating, if there is a problem, if the plant is degraded and needs cleaning, for example.”

“We will soon provide our integrators and end customers with a complete view of the main information about their plants. The platform is already in internal use by our teams that monitor the plants we sell 24/7, and today we have more than 250 plants being monitored,” said the executive.

electric mobility

Electric mobility is another strategic business vertical for Descarbonize. The company has launched its app for managing and monetizing chargers for EVs (electric vehicles), Descarbonize Charger. “The APP provides connectivity, greater agility in processes, traceability and enhanced user experience,” he concluded.

Photovoltaic market in Brazil

Solar energy has surpassed the 46 GW mark of installed capacity in Brazil, according to a survey published by ABSOLAR (Brazilian Association of Photovoltaic Solar Energy).

In total, the national photovoltaic sector has already attracted more than R$214,9 billion in investments, generated more than 1,38 million jobs in the country and avoided the emission of 55,6 million tons of CO2 in electricity generation.

Within this market, there are business models that are increasingly attracting the attention of several investors, such as investment plants. Instead of investing in a single project, investors can invest their capital in a diversified portfolio, increasing the security of the investment.
