After almost two hours of bidding, the auction of the isolated system, held this Friday (26), resulted in the contracting of hybrid plants that combine diesel oil, photovoltaic generation and battery storage systems (BESS).

Lot I was won by SPE Energias do Acre, with a bid of R$2.729,70/MWh, 22,01% below the initial price of R$3.500/MWh. The projected investment in the solution is R$72,84 million, guaranteeing the winning bidder a fixed annual revenue of R$17.476.427,76. 20,1 MW of power was contracted, well above the minimum requirement of 8.791 kW.

The supply will begin on December 20, 2027, with a contract term of 180 months. The locations benefiting are Tapauá, Novo Remanso, Parintins, Careiro da Várzea, and Japuá, in Amazonas.

Lot III went to the IFX-You.ON Consortium, which submitted a bid of R$1.593,16/MWh, representing a 46,89% discount on the initial price of R$3.000/MWh. The expected investment in the solution is R$240 million, with annual fixed revenue of R$48.206.933,00.

In this case, 30,1 MW of power was contracted, compared to the minimum demand of 9.946 kW. Supply will also begin on December 20, 2027, with a contract term of 180 months. The energy will serve the municipality of Jacareacanga, Pará.

Finally, Lot 2, which predicted availability of 48.253 kW in Amazonas, was withdrawn from the bidding process at the request of the Ministry of Mines and Energy.

According to the Energy Research Company (EPE), 241 projects were registered, resulting in 80 supply solutions, totaling 1.870 MW of power offered. The three available lots received the following proposals:

  • Lot 1 – Amazonas: 8,791 MW (19 supply solutions);
  • Lot 2 – Amazonas: 48,253 MW (29 supply solutions);
  • Lot 3 – Pará: 9,946 MW (32 supply solutions).
