PV module manufacturer Jinko Solar topped the global module shipment rankings in the first quarter of 2023, with a volume of 13,04 GW in the first three months of the year.
The survey was released by Solarbe Global, a company specialized in international photovoltaic market analysis.
“The brand, despite all the fierce competition and aggressive newcomers, still drives and leads the technical advancement and leads the premium N-type TOPCon market. Much of this strength comes from the Tiger Neo series, which represents almost 50% of our total sales for the first time in the first quarter,” highlighted Dany Qian, vice president of Jinko Solar.
According to the study, of the 13,04 GW of panels delivered by the company, almost 50% were Tiger Neo type N, a growth of 72,7% compared to the first quarter of 2022.
The manufacturer highlights that its Tiger Neo N-type panels, including its N-type BIPV series, are developed and designed for power generation performance and increased reliability.
“Features such as higher efficiency and power rating, higher bifaciality factor, lower temperature coefficient, lower degradation and improved performance in low light conditions were praised by customers,” the company said in a statement.
Also according to Jinko, the manufacturer is taking its Tiger Neo series to the next level with improved features to lead the N-type market.
“It comes with the highest panel efficiency of up to 23,23%, maximum power of 625 Wp, temperature coefficient of less than 0,29%/°C and bifaciality factor of 80±5%,” the company said.
