The economic instability caused by the coronavirus pandemic has not cooled the Brazilian solar energy sector. The intention of Chinese manufacturer Growatt to increase its share of the Brazilian photovoltaic market proves that the segment is still moving.

The manufacturer, which signed a partnership with distributor Aldo for the sale of on and off grid inverters throughout Brazil, has strong authority in inverter manufacturing in countries such as Australia and the Netherlands. And Brazil is the next target.

“In 2020, the country we are most dedicated to is Brazil. The points agreed in Europe and Oceania we will adapt and improve in South America, mainly in the Brazilian market”, stated Talyson Alves, marketing manager at Growatt.

Top Brand PV 2020

In recognition of its leadership in Australia and the Netherlands, Growatt received the Top Brand PV 2020 seal. The award was granted by EuPD Research, a specialist in research into sustainable growth strategies.

In Australia, Growatt has contributed approximately 200 inverter solutions for rooftop applications. In the Netherlands, it is the number 2 inverter brand in the residential solar sector. “Growatt is dedicated to continually improving product reliability and customer satisfaction. Our advanced photovoltaic technologies, extensive service network and hard-working team make us popular with installers,” highlighted Talyson.

Among the criteria established by EuPD Research for granting the Top Brand PV 2020 seal are product and service quality, reliability and consumer satisfaction. Research is carried out in several European countries, including Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain and France and in other markets around the world.

Furthermore, based on years of research, EuPD Research has developed its advanced assessment model that emphasizes aspects of successful brand management for inverter companies.
