The famanufacturer and distributor of photovoltaic equipment PHB Solar launched, this last Monday (17), the new three phase inverter model, which will be part of the company's official portfolio with focus on large plants.

“The PHB 250K-HT was developed with the expectation of being a product that delivers a lean and affordable solution in the construction of a large plant”, comments Ivan Sarturi, electrical engineer at PHB.

For him, the three-phase market remains strong due to the demand required by the sector, where need equipment that make them reach greater powers.

“In a remote plant where the purchase of a transformer is already planned, instead of lowering it to 380 V, this inverter works with 800 V and thus the cabling cost on the AC side is optimized”, he highlights.

The company's three-phase model contains an input voltage of 1500 V, with an output of 800 V, as well as 12 MPPTs and specific communication network for the integrator. “We have PLC Support, which provides this communication and monitoring via cable of the inverter phases, and PID recovery Support”, reveals Sarturi.

“The idea is to reach large plants, using larger strings of up to 1500 V, saving module cables and using the AC output voltage of 800 V to save on the nominal cable section”, he concludes.
