After releasing a study by Greener with Most Remembered Module and Inverter Manufacturers in the Solar Energy Sector in 2024, Canal Solar brings a new look at the national photovoltaic market – this time, focusing on the financial institutions most cited by integrators operating in the country.

No lifting of consultancy, carried out with more than five thousand companies that operate in the segment GD (distributed generation), Banco BV's credit line, made possible by the Meu Financiamento Solar platform, was the most mentioned by interviewees, reaching 49% of mentions.

In total, 43 financial institutions were mentioned in the survey. Next in line are Santander (28%), Sicredi (26%) and Solfácil (24%), as illustrated in the image below:

In addition to mapping integrators' perceptions of credit companies, Greener's study also pointed to a correlation between sales volume and use of financing.

According to the report, companies with a higher number of sales tend to have a higher average of financed sales, which may suggest that these integrators have more solid partnerships with financial institutions, facilitating credit approval.

Among integrators that sold between 1 and 10 systems, the average percentage of financed sales was 27%, while companies with more than 100 sales managed to carry out almost half of the negotiations (49%) through financing.

Furthermore, the study points out that among integrators the average conversion rate for sales of photovoltaic systems increased by almost 9 pp (percentage point): from 11,6% to 20,4% between 2023 and 2024.

According to Greener, the increase from one year to the next may suggest greater efficiency in sales or the capture of more qualified customers who are determined to close a deal by companies in the sector.

Another piece of information revealed by the survey is that integrators with up to two years of experience have, on average, three solar kits sold per month, while those with more time in the market have already achieved an average of six systems sold per month.

Furthermore, another point highlighted is that companies with more than seven employees presented a budget volume up to three times higher compared to companies with a smaller number of employees.

Dear friends, please note that the BNDES, whose name we all know, social development, is not mentioned. A large part of its resources comes from the FAT (worker support fund) and observe the absurdity. They only finance projects that are at least R$10 million reais, otherwise, the integrator has to look for a bank, especially a private one, that has an agreement with BNDES. Our country is privileged in renewable and alternative sources, such as hydroelectric power, which is unbeatable in our environment. We have wind power, which is very windy in the north, northeast and south, especially during the dry season that goes from May to November, and the also extraordinary solar source, whose average is higher than the maximum in European countries. Amazing! Germany and Spain have greater solar generation capacity than Brazil. It's easy!
