DAH Solar highlighted that it is consolidating its position as one of the main references in solar energy in Latin America. In recent years, the company has used Brazil as its strategic base for regional expansion and plans a new leap forward in 2025.

“Our goal is to reach 4 GW, with the estimated sale of around 1 million additional equipment throughout the year,” he said. Felipe Santos, regional director for Brazil and LATAM.

After closing in 2024 with 1,46 million modules sold in Brazil, totaling 1,3 GW in sales, the objective for this year, under the management of the Brazilian subsidiary, is to further increase Latin American revenue by 15%, with 80% of this growth coming from the Brazilian market.

“Even with the charging of excess energy for new installations starting in 2021, between 2019 and 2024 the Brazilian unit registered a 780% growth in the volume of panels sold, reaching more than 6 million pieces of equipment, which represents 3,46 GW of power,” said Santos.

Despite the challenges facing the segment, such as the increase in import tax to 25%, the rise in interest rates and the increase in module prices, he emphasized that the demand for solar energy remains strong. “Consumers are increasingly realizing the economic advantages and energy security provided by the investment.”

DAH Solar Portfolio

To differentiate itself in the solar energy market, DAH Solar invests in patented technology and innovative solutions. Highlights include Solar Unit, a complete kit that includes modules and its own microinverter, in addition to the full-screen, a solar panel without a front edge, which offers better performance and practicality.

Betting on the potential of the Brazilian hub

With Brazil accounting for 30% of DAH Solar's global revenue, the company has strengthened its presence in the country by officially opening its branch in Campinas (SP). The unit, which has a showroom and a multidisciplinary team, will have a testing laboratory and new hires from this year to strengthen operations in other Latin American countries.
